Simple, elegant, clean, lovely.
Stairway to room had very musty dirty carpet. Breakfast was slim- would be nice to offer some sort of protein.
Tha staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The room was spacious for three people, the furniture pieces beautiful and the high ceiling with ornate molding gave it a classic touch. It was a pleasure staying there.
I would have preferred to have clean towels daily.
Fabulous Marina at reception, spacious Comfortable rooms, high ceilings, comfortable location
No lift and no bellboy to help with the bags, and as I said, there are high ceilings
Access to town was excellent.
The rooms were not well air conditioned and sparcely decorated. The breakfast coffee tasted odd.
The room was clean and tidy. the location was the best part of this hotel.
There was no elevator so after travelling around for 4 weeks prior to this hotel we found it a bit difficult carrying our bags up two flights of stairs. the breakfast was average and was not ready when it was advised it would be. there was no fridge in the room which was a disappointment. i would not stay at this hotel again.
I love the hotel. The people who work there were very kind and helpful and the room was very beautiful, big and clean.
Only two problems: no elevator in the hotel, and I had a hard time trying to find it... My cars gps didnt find the hotel... But this is not a problem of the hotel. Its a problem of Firenze. The streets are confusing...
A really comfortable B&B, great host and fantastic location. There are no views from the rooms as the hotel is down a narrow street - but you don't need a view as you should be outside wandering around for that. Beds were comfortable & facilities were adequate. I would stay here again.
Breakfast is very basic, but from experience it seems to be in most hotels unless you're going very high end.
Lovely hotel, relaxed and helpful staff especially Marina who was brilliant . We stayed a week with our 7 yr old and felt very comfortable and looked after. Our triple room was a double bed and a smallish fold out bed which was sufficient for our small child. The location was perfect! The room was clean, elegant and spacious and the bathroom was in keeping with a good working shower with constant hot water. I would totally recommend this hotel for all the right reasons !!!!!!
The location is one block from the Duomo. You walk out of the door and everything is right there. The room was very clean and comfortable. Intimate setting.
Do not come here with a car because of the city location. The closeness to the sights includes noisy revelers at night. Minimal breakfast.
My husband and I love this Residence and consider it our home in Florence. Marina, the manager at this hotel went completely out of her way to help me when I had an accident and broke my kneecap while walking to the hotel from the train station. They accommodated my ever need and more. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else!
It was in a good location and good hot water.
Arrogant staff and we got the smallest room in the hotel even though we were staying 5 days. Musty/damp smell, dark and dingy, no mini-bar, no restaurant, cheap/bad breakfast with lousy coffee, stained carpet, mould on the bedroom ceiling, the bed was two singles pushed together (I requested a King/Queen if possible), chipped walls and paint work and quite expensive. The worst hotel we stayed in while in Italy.
Location excellent. carpet/entryway very musty--needs upgrading. very nice staff...
Maid did not supply essentials on the last day;had to ask for them.
Location - the heart of the historical center of the city. The staff was also helpful and friendly.
The bathroom was equipped for disabled people (shower and toilet), which was a bit unconfortable. The breakfast was very poor.
Location and conditioner in the room.
Toilet and shower were not even cleaned (no words about desinfection) after the previous tourists! Breakfast room is small and consist of 1 big table at which you should eat (no more than 6 persons at time) and take food. Poor italian breakfast with bad coffee.
The rooms are big and clean, with air conditioned, tv, and hair dryer. The staff of the hotel is very nice and kind. The hotel is in the center (5 min on foot to Duomo). There is water for the clients in the hall. A really nice and confortable hotel.
The room for the breakfast is small (6 people) but you can take your breakfast and have it in the room, and the breakfast is good (and could be perfect if there was also some fruit!). There is only a mirror in the bathroom, it would be nice to have a big one in the room.
